Terms of use
Effective 28 September 2026. These terms are short on purpose. Please read them before you use the tools.
The short version
- The tools are free for personal and commercial use.
- Your files and your results belong to you. We never receive them.
- Check important results. Conversions can lose data and measurements can be imprecise, so verify anything critical before you rely on it.
- The tools are provided as they are, without guarantees.
1. Agreement
These terms apply to the website microplugins.app and every tool on it (together, “MicroPlugins”). By using MicroPlugins you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. The service
MicroPlugins provides free web apps that run in your browser. We may add, change or remove tools and features at any time, and we may pause or stop the service. We will try to give notice of major changes on this site.
3. Your files and your results
You keep all rights to the files you open and to everything you create with MicroPlugins. Because the tools run on your device, we never receive your files and claim no rights to them. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to open, convert or modify the files you use.
4. Acceptable use
You may use MicroPlugins for any lawful personal or commercial purpose. You agree not to:
- use the tools to infringe anyone’s intellectual property or other rights;
- attack, overload or disrupt the site or its hosting, or try to get around its security;
- copy the site’s design or branding to pass off another service as MicroPlugins;
- use automated means to put an unreasonable load on the site.
5. Accuracy of results
We work hard to make every tool accurate, but 3D formats differ in what they can store. A conversion may drop materials, textures, animation or structure, and compression may change how a model looks. Measurements depend on the units and precision stored in your file. Always keep your original files, and check measurements and outputs before you use them for manufacturing, construction or any other purpose where errors are costly.
6. Open-source software
The 3D engine behind MicroPlugins is released under the MIT licence, and the tools include other open-source components under their own licences. They are listed on the open-source licences page. Nothing in these terms limits the rights those licences give you.
7. Our name and brand
The MicroPlugins name, logo and the design of this website belong to us. You may refer to MicroPlugins by name and link to any page. Please do not use our logo in a way that suggests we endorse you without asking first.
8. No warranty
MicroPlugins is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the tools will be uninterrupted, error-free or able to open every file.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, MicroPlugins is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the tools. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using MicroPlugins after an update, the new terms apply.
